Sister Concerns of Organization
Kamdhenu Associates:- In 2009, to increase the consumption of milk, Kamdhenu Hitkari Manch formed another organization named as Kamdhenu Sweets & Bakers and installed a sweets manufacturing plant at Industrial Area, Bilaspur, H.P. It manufactured quality sweets from milk supplied by Kamdhenu Hitakri Manch and presently known for its quality sweets. In 2021, Ice cream section is also added in this unit and now this unit is also supplying Ice Cream in the market. Presently more than 50 youths have been employed in this unit.
Kamdhenu Non Agri Thrift & Credit Society:- Kamdhenu Non Agri Thrift & Credit Society is also formed by Kamdhenu to encourage the farmers to make a habit to small saving and also to support them financially if they required it. It takes the deposits from the farmers, who are member of this society and also gave loan them. There are 3 person employed in this unit.
Gaukaran Farmers Producer Co Ltd.:- To support the more farmers of Himachal Pradesh, Kamdhenu Hitakri Manch formed a FPO named as Gaukaran Farmers Producer Co ltd. and got it registered under company act 2013 in April 2017. Later on with the help of Deptt of Industries- Himachal Pradesh, M/s Gaukaran Farmers Producer Co. Ltd. installed a milk pasteurization plant at V.P.O. Haripur, Distt. Solan, Himachal Pradesh with capacity of handing 15000 ltrs milk per day. Presently this unit is collecting around 3000 ltrs milk per day from the 350 milk producers of surrounding area and after processing and pasteurizing the same supplying it to Solan, Chandigarh and nearby towns also. In this unit we have employed 15 youths directly and 10 vehicles have been hired on contract basis.
